In this class we will :
-Layer and fill a real sponge cake
-Cover it with ganache - perfect base for super smooth icing
-Cover cake with pastel coloured fondant icing of your choice
-Decorate with floral wreat - small fondant flowers
-Cover Cake board
Spend a day with our cake decorator & award winning pastry Chef Baiba, who will take you on a journey from a simple sponge cake to a perfectly finished masterpiece that you won’t be able to wait & show off to your friends!
Do not be deceived, however fun this class sounds it will be fully hands-on all day, with a break for lunch around 12/2pm. You will leave with a beautifully decorated cake to enjoy with your family and friends.
Some basic skills of cake assembling & sugarpaste work is preffered but complete newbies are also encouraged, just let us know if this is the first time you’re working with a cake & we will do our best to assist you if needed.
A list of materials used will be provided for you on the day, please bring the following:
A notebook, and apron, & fully charged phone to take photos of all the stages.
